I'm sorry, autoblocking a program like RoboForm is UNACCEPTABLE in my opinion!

This is a critical program in my daily work and something a simple as just having to update to the latest RF version is a completely unfounded reason to block such a well-established program as RoboForm. A simple warning in FF that RF needs to be updated would suffice, as most RF users know that their updates nearly always add better functionality and rarely introduce new issues to an already stable program.

Before I found this thread and thought to check for an update myself, I was two minutes away from downgrading FF just to get RF back.

FF developers need to think about ALL implications of their actions before doing something like this. Blocking a program isn't always the best way to "help/protect" their software users.

I updated roboform to 7.6.4. I also updated firefox to 8.0.1. Nothing doing. Still doesn't work.

Blocking something as popular as roboform without a solution is the height of stupidity. Chrome, here I come!

The previous big "update" from Firefox made my Roboform NOT WORKABLE! In order to recover my RF data, I had to re-purchase Roboform - an expense I had not planned on - and now I must pay an annual 'update' charge to keep working with it - something I've not had to do in all the years I've been using RF! Roboform, to me, is irreplaceable - a MUST HAVE program in today's world of multiple usernames and passwords....there is no way I could keep track

Now I am truly afraid to "update" Firefox - though I am lost without it....I do NOT like using IE - and feel like every time I use it I'm being 'watched' - many conservative sites I visit regularly suddenly make IE 'CRASH' - with no explanation!

I agree with LitlBits2011. I upgraded FireFox to 8.0.1 and instantly RoboForm ceased to be available. So I upgraded RoboForm to the latest available, and it still isn't available.

I am now forced to use Internet Explorer to work with the Internet. I don't want to, but I'm afraid that breaking compatibility with RoboForm which cannot be restored leaves a great deal to be desired.

Again it is Roboform 7.62 and earlier that is blocklisted due to causing crashes upon Firefox startup. It is not Roboform being blocked in general. https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/blocked/i45

If you cannot or will not update Roboform to at least 7.62 then you can try Firefox 8.0.1 from www.mozilla.com

Mozilla did think of the implications as for example who do you think people will blame for the crashes upon startup. Most likely blame Firefox 8.0 before even considering that it may actually be the older Roboform version.
