Browser= Firefox; Virus program=Webroot security; on the firefox browser , a blank line appears under the command line followed by the webroot logo with "webroot tools", My webroot, and "sign-in". can this be supressed. neither windows explorer nor chrome show these. It is a waste of screen for me.

I should have mentioned that you could right-click next to the menu, the "+" (new tab) button or in a blank area after the address box to access the pop-up and turn the display of individual toolbars on and off. Does that work with the Webroot toolbar?

If you right-click that toolbar, does it let you uncheck it to hide it?

If the controls are on a toolbar that you want to continue to display, you could try dragging them onto the button palette. Right-click, choose customize, and then drag and drop the Webroot items into the dialog showing the other unused buttons.

Any luck?

All the tabs on the Webroot bar are left clickable, but right click doesn't work. The bar does appear on windows internet explorer but can be turned on or off freeing up more room at the top. I think the program in WRTray.exe. But I think it is related to the main virus program. thanks for your suggestion.
