I'm using Thunderbird 52.5.0 (64-bit) on OS X to receive and send e-mails from my company's mail server. According to recent security recommendation, we disabled SSLv3 on the server. More specifically, we use dovecot as POP3 service and postfix as SMTP service where we disabled SSLv3 on the both services.

Now both POP3 and SMTP are working on TLSv1.2 instead of SSL. But I have got a problem on my thunderbird client. I can send messages from it, but cannot receive messages with a following error:

An error occurred during a connection to mail.our.server.name:995. Cannot communicate securely with peer: no common encryption algorithm(s). Error code: SSL_ERROR_NO_CYPHER_OVERLAP

My setting for the account is

     Connection Security: SSL/TLS
     Authentication method:Normal password

I dont know how to fix this error.
