the stuff firefox on android did to the menu messes me up real bad, why do i have to add a button that i will never use and will always misclick because my hands dont work right? why on earth did you mess with everyones muscle memory, its genuinely making me break down and idk how to change it back without losing all my tabs, please help

1. The tabs list places the tabs extremely high up. 2. When using a single toolbar, please add an option to have no "shortcut" in the toolbar. Seeing what site I'm on becomes harder and harder every update, with random new things being added or the padding of existing items being expanded. 3. When using a single toolbar, opening the triple dot menu means I need to stretch my hand all the way to the top of the screen to open it, then all the way to the bottom of the screen to interact with the menu that it opens. This is absurd.

I prefer the desktop view. I know how to change it to desktop view. I would like to know if there is a way to set it to open in desktop instead of having to change it everytime I access the web.

After much searching and guesswork, I've finally worked out that the "cross in a box" icon on the Firefox android search bar is to allow qr codes to be scanned. Maybe you could add a tool-tip for these more obscure icons?

Where did background playback go? I can’t even use the phone with one hand, and suddenly I can’t fit more than six tabs in there? What are you doing with this browser? I have Firefox on Android set as an unrestricted app, yet it started closing my tabs anyway. What are you doing with this browser?

A site I use, bestcrosswords.com, has been acting weirdly since late on 11/18. Instead of the highlighting changing with the active word, the highlighting has gone completely haywire. I have already posted regarding that and filed a bug report (the problem does not occur in DuckDuckGo), but the site has started giving a suggestion I cannot follow.

Please see the image. I can see how the suggestion works on a desktop, but not a phone. Please forgive me if it's considered too obvious to document, but despite searching the phone's software and the Web for advice, I cannot find anyway to follow the site's suggestion.

Could someone clarify the point for me?

Please add an option to set a default language to translate into. I often have to translate Japanese webpages, and each time I need to scroll through the list of "Translate to" languages to find English.

Tried to download Firefox onto my android mobile, but it kept saying I have to get the app from google.

Due to my ‘thing’ about internet security, I will not use google at any price!

Can you direct me to where I might get the app elsewhere, please?
