I have been trying to install firefox 7.xx and each time the install fails with "patch apply failed" I have done this now about 10 times since 9/30/2011. Why? I have also tried to do it manually by going to Mozilla and directly downloading the file and launching it. Still fails with same message.

-> Uninstall Firefox from your computer - Uninstall your current Firefox

  • DO NOT SELECT TO REMOVE USER DATA AND SETTINGS
  • Restart your system

-> Download latest Firefox version from one of these links using some other Web Browser:

Check and tell if its working.
