Cant open full pages from bookmark favorites saved in bar?

When I try to open a site from my saved bookmarks (in the bookmark bar) it opens a half tab left of current page(which will not expand full screen) instead of a full page new tab to the right? I'm using Macbook Pro.?

It sounds like they are opening in the sidebar. Right-click (or control+click) on a bookmark and select Properties. Now de-select the setting "Load this bookmark in the sidebar".

This setting will be selected if you choose a JavaScript button on a site to bookmark a page. You should use the "Bookmark this page" option on the Bookmarks menu or use the star in the location bar to bookmark a page.
