I just added a Gmail account to Thunderbird. It is showing the following folders: Inbox Drafts Sent Sent All Mail Spam Spam Trash Important Starred

I would like to delete the duplicate folders, all mail, important and starred. Any idea how to do that? OS is Windows 11 Pro on my desktop PC.

Appreciate information.

highlight the account in folder pane rightclick and select subscribe Untick those folders

There is no "subscribe" as far as I can see. Options: Open in new tab Open in new window Search messages New subfolder Compact folder Mark folder read Favorite folder Properties

Can you post a screenshot of the folder pane? That may help. To be safe, click view>folders>all folders. That should list all accounts, Rightclick the account name, not the inbox or message.
