1. install Thunderbird https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/installing-thunderbird-linux
2. set up your email account in Thunderbird https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/automatic-account-configuration
3. Now you will see your emails in Thunderbird.
