why do i have to reset theme, every time I open foxfire?

Amoun, Thank you for your prompt reply. I could not find the setting you wrote of in accounts. I did find a setting that asked if I wanted to open each time my original profile or another type. So I checked the box for original. This having to relaunch my favorite theme is something Foxfire did and I have put up with it for about a year.

Foxfire is still the best browser and I use no other browser.

If you are not clear about this then you maynot be using Private mode.

Right click on the toolbar and you get an option to Customise toolbar > There is then an option to drag a 'mask' icon to the toolbar to enable Private browsing. If you accidentally, or intentionally use that mode then a lot of setting won't be kept if you use it again or switch to default.

Clearly it could be another issue

Again, thank you for your help. no the private browsing is not enabled. I only use the original profile setting. Seems like this started about a year ago after a foxfire update. I did notice that if I do not reset my favorite theme after starting up foxfire, then close foxfire,after reopening foxfire, my favorite theme starts with foxfire opening, then goes off to some default theme. When I go to manage themes, it shows my favorite theme is still enabled. I have to disable it then re enable it for it to return. I have deleted foxfire, then reinstalled foxfire to no avail. Guess I just have a unique system. I'll shut up and live with it. Thank you again for your help and kindness Anoum
