How to Import MBOX to Thunderbird?
I have several MBOX files with me and I want to import MBOX files into the Thunderbird email client. I've come across different methods, including manual techniques and third-party tools, but I'm unsure which approach is the most efficient, especially when dealing with multiple or large-sized MBOX files. Some methods also seem complicated for users who are not very technical.
Suggest me any reliable tool for this!

- install the addon, importexporttools NG
- highlight Local Folders
- rightclick and select importexport option to import mbox file
- locate and select an mbox file and click ok (IGNORE any files ending in .msf)

- exit thunderbird
- copy the mbox files to the mail\Local Folders folder
- restart thunderbird
Importing an MBOX file into Thunderbird is not the same as opening a regular email attachment. The mailbox needs to be placed inside a Thunderbird folder, and the easiest approach for standalone MBOX files is to use the ImportExportTools NG extension.
Open Thunderbird, install the add-on from Add-ons and Themes, and select the Local Folders section. Create a destination folder for the imported emails, then right-click it and open the ImportExportTools NG menu. Choose the option to import an MBOX file, browse to the mailbox location, and select the file you want to load. After the import finishes, open the destination folder and check the messages.
