one website is timing out, I started to have problem yesterday. I was able to load when I tethered with my iphone.

before that I tried

Closed all the application rebooting Mac tried on Safari 

             Firefox
             Google chrome

with no success

Chrome says it's 504 error

If other browsers hit the same error, that's an issue of the website's side. You may want to inform its owners/administrators if you can.
