
Making new profile and deleting it deleted inbox for old profile
While solving some other problem, I created a new account in Thunderbird. After that I deleted that account, and now the inbox for my old account is empty. All other folders are intact. How do I restore my inbox?

Your description doesn't corroborate with your title. Did you create a new profile or a new account?
A new profile, I meant.
Ok, so you created a profile and then deleted the profile. Is the account POP? You might check in c:\userrs\<yourid>\appdata\roaming\thunderbird\profiles to see if there are more than one profile. If so, check the Mail\<POPaccount> folder to see if that is the missing account.
