e-mail presentation on screen.

I used to get folder description on left hand side of screen, then a list of emails in centre and then when I clicked once on an e-mail its contents would appear on right side of screen; not any more. Please tell me how to restore?

Try view>layout>folder pane and view>layout>message pane. That may do it.
