please tell me how to get my bookmarks back from 12-21-2015
I had to restart in 12-23-2015 and now all I can find is that date. I've tried all the suggestions to the point where I'm frustrated.
Can someone please tell me how to get my bookmarks back.

I have been trying all your suggestions and still don't see them. Where can I find a list of saved bookmarks. Should be simple, right?

Yes I do but it doesn't give me any 12-2015 bookmarks. That's the back up for the computer and it's all prior to 12-2015. I'm looking for the bookmarks that were saved by Firefox. It's my understanding that Firefox saves my bookmarks and history when I close it at night. If so than where does it save the data and how so I access it?

Did that. Still can't find a list of the saved bookmarks from 12-21-2015.
It's my understanding that Firefox saves every time I close. If so than where can I find 12-21-2015 or anything close (prior to)?

I see everything from the restore point of 12-23-2015 on. I had to restore and can't find anything earlier than 12-23-2015

I am at a loss to explain why you don't have backup files between what was in the "old Firefox data" and the current contents of the Backups folder inside of Firefox.

So there is no back up in Mozilla? This isn't the first time this has happened. I've rebuilt my bookmark list before for the same reason.
It looks as I'm not the only one with this issue.
So tell me where does Mozilla store the saved bookmarks? I should be able to access them going back to when I first started using Mozilla if what Mozilla tells me is true which is that it saves every time I exit Mozilla or Firefox.
If that is true than where does Mozilla store them?
What backups do you see in the bookmarkbackups folder in the "Old Firefox Data" folder on the desktop?
