Hi all

i have a user on Firefox Android mobile who lost all his bookmarks right after an automatic update.

He did not have sync enabled.

How can he recover this particular bookmarks?

Michael, I am not sure if the files would still be on the device but you can check where the app data is stored for Firefox on the device. I usually use a folder app to look.

  • /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox

Michael, I am not sure if the files would still be on the device but you can check where the app data is stored for Firefox on the device. I usually use a folder app to look.

The data is likely gone. The /data/data/org.mozilla.firefox folder is not readable by normal users.
