Protect your account with two-step authentication.

Two-step authentication adds extra security by making it harder for someone else to log in to your account, especially if they steal your password. Then again, by using a firefox account you optionally transfer your passwords etc. to a third party when you could just keep them locally where ideally only yourself knows about them. If your computer travels a lot like e.g. a laptop computer, this may or may not be a safer alternative, depending on the circumstances.
