I successfully imported the book marks and see multiple bookmarks folders in library. At least one of them really has the bookmarks. But when I enable show bookmarks, they are nowhere to be seen

When accessing Google Docs, I can right-click and successfully Cut and Copy from the pop-up menu, but when I attempt to right-click paste, Docs pops up the message shown in the attached image. Ctrl-V works, but clearly Google Docs understands what is being requested and simply will not perform the operation, which is very annoying. Is there any way to get Google Docs to perform the mouse-based paste?

Please remove and do not add any AI/ML features to Firefox, it's the only mainstream browser of this kind left, i was planning on buying some merch but I don't think this company deserves my money if it tries to make cash off me in an insidious way either way

Hello. I have issue with Firefox. I am often opening firefox by command: firefox --no-remote -P <profil> --new-window "<web_site>" Usualy it works. But sometimes it is opening new window and my web_site is located in second tab. First tab (which is completelly unwated) start loading after clicking on it. It is a recently closed tab. I call this tab zombie-tab. It was finished and properly closed, however it rose from the dead. I tried to set in about:config browser.sessionstore lot of parameter to absolutelly forbid to save any information. However, there is still whole history in the list, sites are restorable and sometimes it appears these zombie-tabs. Restore from crash is also deactivated. I tried before to start the firefox without --no-remote parameter, but AI recommend me to add it there. It did not help. Since it is happening occasionally, I consider it as a bug. Firefox Sync code doesn't arrive; my email's support (Proton Mail) says you have «likely added you to their suppression (do-not-send) list automatically.».

So I request you remove the e-mail associated with my account, the one used in this post, from the do-not-send list.

I am using 147 ESR and when I go to permissions and block all cookies for the site plex.tv the cookies are not blocked. If I go to the URL field and select the lock, it shows "clear cookies and site data" which means the cookies have being accepted.

Why are the cookies accepted from the site when I have set cookies "blocked"

So I had logged into this Firefox account, but while I was, I forgot my password. I needed to enter the correct code from the email, but I lost the recovery key; I needed to enter in the 2FA code from my phone, then I could now change the password. When I logged in, boom, bookmarks gone. Passwords gone, and browsing history gone. I was waiting for it all to sync, but it had probably synced the deletion of everything possibly. I have no idea what happened, but I do not believe my account was compromised, because I did not get any emails about any new logins. If it is encrypted, how can I decrypt it so I can get my stuff back? Thanks.

There appears to be more details in https://bugzilla.mozilla.org/show_bug.cgi?id=2014390 located at the bottom. When I try to view the details it asks me to log in. I do not see any reason I should have to log in to view the issue as I only intend to view the bug. Why does it require a login ?

I am using 140 ESR version on linux with Cloudflare's DNS over HTTPS and with DOH active for some reason resolving a domain like d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net will resolve to local host IP 127.0.0.1.

I am using firefox about:networking#dnslookuptool to test resolution of the domain d3oklwo3y1bx83.cloudfront.net Both with DOH on and off the resolution remains local host. I tried another browser on the same workstation and I was able to receive a resolution of 13.225.193.203 13.225.193.133 13.225.193.64 13.225.193.58 Why is firefox ESR not able to resolve that domain? What are causes ?

Popup GUI elements if pulled up twice in quick succession spike my CPU usage and crash the program

some examples: -menu bar menus -the menu button -context menus (websites with their own context menus do not do this) -preview tooltips

I've tried disabling extensions, turning hardware acceleration off and on and disabling AI to no avail. Disabling the preview tooltips 'worked' but I'd prefer not to disable everything here. Are there any other settings that might help?

Since updating Firefox from a previous version, the browser no longer displays any Unicode emoji characters. Where an emoji would normally be rendered (👁️), the browser instead displays empty space. Websites such as twitter and discord, which use their own artwork for emoji, are unaffected. This has negatively affected my browsing experience.

For illustrative purposes, I will add a series of emoji and include a screenshot of how they are displayed: (😀🙁😡💀). Other characters still display correctly: (β❖♞䷲⎈𐘢𓀺இ). My computer otherwise displays emoji correctly. The issue persists after disabling extensions, and has persisted between computer restarts.

I'm running Linux (NixOS) and Firefox version 148. I've tested on Chrome based browsers and they work fine. Tested on Firefox forks and they also don't display correctly. This is new since less than a week ago.

I get why the domain is highlighted, and it's good! But the rest of the URL can be hard to read, especially with dark themes (see screenshot, taken of this page's URL bar, using the default Dark theme). I have tried to find a dark theme with better contrast, but haven't had any success.

Is there a setting that I can change to set the font colors or contrast between them?

I believe Firefox invited me to add another partition to my Firefox system I do not like it, finding it interferes with my normal operation of daily events and also transfers unasked from my primary partition making, for instance emails l seeking a reply.

I have a machine I've been using for months and haven't got around to archiving the history and tabs for some research I was doing. I realized this could be problematic if anything happened to the machine, so I decided to sign-in to my Mozilla/Firefox account I made years ago, so it would be safely sync'd.

Everything was fine at first, it showed it was syncing and whatnot, but then after several minutes, Firefox crashed. Upon relaunching, ALL of my history is gone! Neither signed-in nor signed-out shows any history at all, except the searches I've done just now trying to undo this mess. Did I really just loose months of history due to some bug or is there a way I can manually restore or see it from the mess of cache/profile files on my machine?

Ubuntu user, so will be at ~/ or similar for most things I assume.
