I am unable to access my Yahoo e-mail and am getting the following message: "Cycle Prohibited Description: Could not process your request for the document because it would cause an HTTP proxy cycle. Please check the URL and your browser's proxy settings."

If you use a bookmark to reach the page then try to navigate to the page via the main Yahoo home page or log in page.

Clear the cache and cookies only from websites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Cached Web Content: "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Firefox/Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"

No response. I "re-bookmarked" the e-mail page and that seems to work.
