I cannot get the flash permission for cam/mic to work on my video chats. It just freezes there. help
when I go into a video chat room, I ask the site to use my cam and after I agree to the terms, adobe flash sends a permission request window in. And it freezes the whole site. I cant get around it, I have to eit the page and sometimes I have to restart.

Hi,
You could try to change the permission to Allow, or Add the site with permission set to Allow in Windows Control Panel > Flash Player > Camera and Mic > Camera and Microphone settings by site and check.
The Adobe Flash forum would also be helpful.
I tried that first. The window still pops up, but now I could see the video in the background. Anyway to eliminate the window pop up would be the way to eliminate the problem for me. Any ideal how I could do that? And thank you for responding. John
You could try this but it may need some experimentation in the beginning: Right-click on the area of the popup, or just outside the right/left edge of the popup > Inspect Element (Q), click on the right edge of the hovering fly-out > Copy Outer HTML, paste it into Notepad, look for shockwave, flash, embed, .swf etc. and copy the address corresponding to that (usually in src=) up to the .com part and Allow it in the Windows Control Panel Flash Player Add list.
To close the Inspect view press Esc, or click the x button on the bottom right, or reload the page.
