Synchronization when blocked
Hello! I am a user from Russia. Our Roskomnadzor blocks Firefox sync addresses. Unfortunately, this makes it difficult to synchronize browsers on different devices. Can you tell me how to get around this and keep the synchronization option?

This is not a very encouraging start to the response comments. Is it really that bad that Firefox sync web addresses can't be unblocked?
It is not our place to help people circumvent or break controls of this nature imposed by a government.
Yes, we would like to help, but open source contributors on a support forum against state level cyber security is very unbalanced and any advice may put you at greater risk.
Usually the advice is to stand up a custom private Sync server, since it's all open–sourced. Most of the client apps could be set to point at an alternate server; not always from their release channels, but their dev versions usually can.
(I don't think anyone is generally aware of any regional blocks against Mozilla endpoints, or their CDN providers — so it would help to link e.g. a local forum thread that collects some data points around the issue. Thanks.)
