Long-press back button no longer summons history on Android
The long-press back button no longer summons the tab's history on my Android phone or my Galaxy tab. Mozilla appears to have disabled this feature quite recently. I'm referring to the small arrow in the lower right-hand corner that you hit quickly to go back once. It was quite useful to do a long press on the arrow and have the history of the tab pop up in a list. You could then pick any page on the list and go directly back, skipping over all the other pages.
Please reinstate this useful feature?

Thanks! All these years and I never knew about that. Just tried it on my Sony Xperia running Android 10 and it works. see screenshot. Let me try it on my Xperia 1 VI running Android 15 and see what happens.

It worked for me last week! Stopped working first on my phone, and I thought I could just reboot it away. Then I check my tablet and the ability was gone there, too. I was googling around and saw someone else complaining about it on another forum, a really recent complaint from January 5, 2025. I figured out you can touch the three dots in the upper right corner, bringing up the forward and back arrows, and a long touch to either arrow gets you the same list. It's not as convenient, but at least it works.
Just tried using the browser back button on my Xperia tablet and it works. see screenshot The bug video is using the Android back button. Is that suppose to have the same function? Like I said, I've never used it before. 😂

Right. The title should say Android or browser back button because the browser button works. Need dev to chime in on this one because when I'm using the browser, the Android buttons are not even showing. I have to pull down the menu from the top and then the bottom buttons show. Tablet is running Android 6.0.1
Just tried on my phone running Android 10 and it works. I see it now on Android 15 phone.
