I installed Thunderbird v128.2.0esr to a new laptop and cannot find the table view/card view icon for configuring the message list and its columns. There is no longer any icon next to the quick filter bar, it seems to be gone in this version.

check that view>layout has message list header ticked, as that causes the missing menu item to appear.
