We have identified an issue with the recent version release of Firefox for iOS (version 40). The issue may present itself as the browser getting stuck loading the last tab or the browser becoming unresponsive. Our product engineers are looking into the issue and plan to release a fix in an upcoming dot release.

I really hope that can do it very quick as it is very urgent for me that I saved some important credentials and taps into this browser which I shouldn’t miss every day. And really so far cannot take them to another browser so it causing a loss for me every day

Hi there.

I saw a post today noting that iOS V40.1 was rolling out. This dot release should resolve the freezing issues when too many tabs were open.

If you have not already received the update, check the iOS app store and download the latest version to see if it resolves your issue.
