Browser search Data
A while ago there was a change in the main Firefox screen at the search data entry box. When one starts to enter search data the entry immediately jumps to the address input bar at the top and starts adding suggested sites as you type. It is a dark color and typing is in dark purple. It is hard to see and hard to edit. I much prefer the previous input method where the search input stays in the large input box in the middle of the screen and I am in control of adding and editing my search data. I have been unable to change it back. Does anyone know how?

You can turn it off by entering about:config in the URL bar and switching browser.newtabpage.activity-stream.improvesearch.handoffToAwesomebar to false.
