CU Website Has Expired Certificate

When I go to login to my credit union, I get this message: "Websites prove their identity via certificates, which are valid for a set time period. The certificate for www.nmefcu.org expired on 3/25/2021.

Error code: SEC_ERROR_EXPIRED_CERTIFICATE"

I called my credit union and they told me they don't support Firefox and if I want to login I would have to use Edge or Chrome. Is there a fix for Firefox or am I being forced to use a different browser by my credit union?

I'm redirected to www.nusenda.org, you can try that website.

If I try the link you posted (www.nmefcu.org) then I get the message that a secure connection isn't possible and whether I want to visit its http:// version. If I approve then I'm redirected from nmefcu to https://www.nusenda.org that works without problems as you can see in the above reply by FredMcD.

If you use a bookmark to access this website then create a new bookmark for Nusenda.

I used several versions of Firefox and had no problem.


There is security software like Avast, Kaspersky, BitDefender and ESET that intercept secure connection certificates and send their own.
