Thunderbird Address Book new laptop

I have a new laptop. I exported my old address books to pcv to desktop, copied them to external hard drive, then imported them into the new laptop Thunderbird. The big problem is that my groups/lists aren't in the address book. Please HELP!

If you export the address books to LDIF format, see if the mailing lists are present when you import them on the new laptop.
