I would like to suggest a new feature for the Privacy & Security settings.
The 'Clear History' options are too limited. I would like to have Firefox automatically clear my history after a specified time period beginning the moment I close Firefox. Because recently, I have had situations where my computer slows down, and the mouse pointer lags in response to my movements. As a result I've more than once accidentally closed Firefox while attempting to access or close a tab. But I have it set to clear my history when Firefox closes and I end up losing track of where I am because I followed a bunch of links to get there and don't remember them all. If I could set Firefox to clear my history 15 minutes after closing, this would solve my problem.

It isn't possible for Firefox to clear your history when it's closed.
