hello,

site which is a book i read everyday and have to bookmark the next unread pages for further reading... bookmark action creates a new menu line of bookmark instead of overwriting old one (i know you may select old one with some action to overwrite it) but instead of it select an option to override a bookmark if it has same "ROOT WEB ADDRESS"

thanks for your helps...

it has same "ROOT WEB ADDRESS"

But is the full address the same? Likely not if it goes to a page. Have you tried to edit the old bookmark?

Copy the link to the current location (address bar), open the bookmark you are using, and replace the current address with the new one.

thanks for reply Fred, but i mentioned " (i know you may select old one with some action to overwrite it)", editing old one is known one, i wish there would be an option to overwrite old bookmark by auto like:

first day http://www.book.com/page=1

next day http://www.book.com/page=2

save all each day to http://www.book.com bookmark (root)

thanks
