I am being bombarded by junk emails supposedly from drug companies and also graphic sexual descriptions in emails, how do I stop this?
I get dozens of emails offering me pharmaceuticals and also sexually explicit language offering me porn, Mozilla recognises them as junk but still allows them into my inbox, how do I stop them appearing in my inbox?

It can't be stopped. Or in other words, you can't stop other people sending to your email address.
Check under Tools|Account Settings|...|Junk Settings; this has settings for what to do with Junk. I'd set it to move material classified as Junk to the nominated folder.
And do mark messages appropriately as Junk or Not Junk (right click!) to help train the built-in Junk controls.
