i just installed a new hp 8500 office jet. i can print from adobe, explorer, one note but not from a mozilla page.does anyone know how to fix this ? my 8500 worked just fine with mozilla

My printer is an HP 8600 OFFICE JET. I cannot print anything when using mozilla. when i'm using explorer and i go to yahoo or yahoo finance or any other website print my stock portfolios, email, etc. but i can't do that when i'm in mozilla. I didn't have that problem with my HP OFFICE JET 8500. HP support hasn't been able to resolve the issue.

Does that printer appear in the "Printer -> Name" drop-down and can you select it?

yes, i checked that but doesn't get me anywhere. any other advice will really be appreciated ! thanks !
