I cannot log in with my AOL password and I know that I typed it correctly

Firefox will not let me log in to my account it keeps telling me incorrect password. I have a second PC and I get in fine with that one so don't know what the problem is with this one.

Hi,

You may also want to try typing the password and the username into notepad and then copying that into the AOL login form to eliminate the possibility that some keys of the keyboard aren't damaged. The username should also be correct.

Clear the cache and the cookies from sites that cause problems.

"Clear the Cache":

  • Tools > Options > Advanced > Network > Offline Storage (Cache): "Clear Now"

"Remove Cookies" from sites causing problems:

  • Tools > Options > Privacy > Cookies: "Show Cookies"
