Your phone processor is ARM 11 based on the ARMv6 architecture. Firefox for mobile requires an ARMv7 processor architecture.

Is there a way to update the architecture of the LG Ally to a ARMv7 or is there any other options that will work? My corporate email site needs Firefox or Internet Explorer for it to work ot the LG Ally. Thank you.

You can use an experimental nightly build. But it crashes a lot.

They are not going to be a beta or final 4.0 release for this processor.
