Two issues: 1) my bookmarks are not displayed in the bookmarks toolbar but are displayed in the library when I try to organize them; 2) The web address for some bookmarks disappear randomly. Please help!

This can be a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
