I just want to know WHERE the notifications land? I have a very old macbook pro (mid 2010) so I have a sneaking suspicion firefox is trying to tell me something about not being supported, yadayadayada, BUT where are the notifications? The OS am currently using is High Sierra 10.13.6 CAN ANYONE HELP ME OUT HERE? Sorry to be such a klutz but these banners appear every day and I can't seem to access whatever it is that firefox is trying to communicate. Thanks all!

Hi

Are you able to share a screenshot of the banner you are seeing in a reply to this thread?

It would better help us understand what you are seeing and help find a solution for you.

Hi, thanks for replying. I can take a screenshot first thing in the morning when I open my laptop, but it disappears pretty quickly. I'll try mañana. It appears in the upper right hand of the screen with a small ff logo. again thanks!

Thank you. The image will help, but that sounds very much like a Windows notification for a webpage.

This support article may help you turn them off:

Ok here's the thing that appears. I have no idea why and also it doesn't seem to be a website from anywhere else...but what do I know?? Anyway even if I click on it nothing happens, it hangs around for a couple of minutes then disappears. If it isn't from firefox, maybe it doesn't matter? And if its from someone else why does it say from firefox? (I'll look into disabling it if you have no further information for me.) Thanks!
