Hi, I'm using Thunderbird version 91.3.2 and when I attach a PDF file and open it to check it, it opens as an HTML file in a web browser. I have preferences set to open PDF files in Foxit Reader. When I open the file in Windows File Explorer, it opens in Foxit Reader. Thanks for any help. Robert McDermott

Hello,

Please make sure that you have set the preferences in Thunderbird, as Thunderbird does not use system defaults for some file types.

Thanks andmagdo. Sorry, I should have been more clear when I wrote that I had my preferences set to open PDF files with Foxit reader. The preferences I referred to are the ones in Thunderbird. My Windows 10 PC also has the default program for opening PDF files set to Foxit reader. It always works as it should.
