Please enable McAfee Antispam add on extensions disabled in Apr 17
I have had a dangerous spam email pretending to be a McAfee agent.I've been on to McAfee and they have advised me to contact Thunderbird to enable McAfee Antispam add on extensions, This Add On was disabled in Apr 17.I,ve been unable to fix it my self Is it possible for you to assist

The McAfee Anti-Spam version 2.0 addon is globally disabled by Thunderbird because it causes a large number of users to crash, and therefore will not be enabled.
We have been told McAfee will be issuing a new version of the addon. We have no information about when that will happen.

This is not a solution that provides choice. Mozilla has provided the ability for users to disable each Thunderbird add-on or extension, which should be the proper solution for this issue. You guys are starting to look a lot like Microsoft these days...

Version 2 will not be unblocked for a variety of reasons that are in the best interest of most McAfee users. Update your version of McAfee so that you get version 3 of McAfee's antispam addon and you will have a working, non-blocked addon. If you have a compliant, it is best directed to McAfee.
