I CANNOT INSTALL ADOBE FLASH PLAYER
I have done EVERYTHING as instructed. Nothing works! Windows Vista Home Premium 32 bit.
All previous versions have been uninstalled. Downloaded via ADOBE DIRECT LINK. No RUN box appears. Nothing happens.

Note that Firefox is a 32 bit application, so you need a 32 bit Flash plugin. You posted with a 32 bit Firefox (WOW64) on 64 bit Windows Vista

You can also check in the Windows registry that you have the proper registry key(s) that allow Firefox to find the Shockwave Flash plugin.

checked plugins -----> doesn't show up at all, not as Adobe Flash Player OR SHOCKWAVE either.
