As I said above I do not know why I can not find that drop down list on my MSN homepage with Firefox to have the ability to change search engines. I had been getting that Plus Network search which I feel is some third party program probably from my old messenger plus but I deleted it and it still comes up occasionally when I search especially when it private mode so I thought if I went to it and deleted it from the drop down menu I would be rid of it. I can not find that google drop down list to this this; however.

If you click Delete in the right-click context menu then you remove the item from the toolbar and move it to the Customize palette. So you can open the Customize window and drag the search bar back onto the Navigation Toolbar or possibly to the "3-bar" Firefox menu button drop-down list.

  • "3-bar" Firefox menu button > Customize
  • View > Toolbars > Customize
