ad blocking
Someone told me to install Ad block and Firefox - I have Mozilla Firefox to search/use internet however I am lost at a lot of the technical or advance computer type settings/changes other than using the internet. I am just not tech savvy. Anyway, there are a lot of issues with At&t and all of their customers as well as myself are irritated and unhappy because of crap service and ongoing issues. We are now dealing with ridiculous amounts of ads and cannot even check email with ads coming before the messages in our inbox.
One of the customers on the community forum said this exactly:
"I don't like ads either and here's what I did to "fix" the problem. Installed Firefox. Installed the AdBlock Plus extentsion. No more ads, Try this because it works and you wont have any issues with unnecessary crap if using Firefox, they are great!"
So my question is how do I do this and get rid of these ads?
Thanks!!
Nicky

Ads are growing increasingly and more annoying every day. It's true that AdBlock Plus is the right step in the direction of enjoying a ad-free browser experience but it's not too hard to install it. Simply follow the below instructions and you'll be good to go.
- Click the blue text --> https://adblockplus.org/en/firefox
- It will load the ABP home page.
- Click the green box that says Install for Firefox
- A pop up will appear on the top left hand corner of Firefox saying Firefox prevented this site (adblockplus.org) from asking you to install software on your computer. Simply click Allow
- The add-on will begin downloading and another box will pop up with a countdown. Once it stops counting down, click the Install button and AdBlock Plus will be installed on Firefox.
- Close Firefox and re-open it to finalize the installation. You shouldn't have any more ads.
Do the following:
- Refresh Firefox - reset add-ons and settings
- Troubleshoot Firefox issues caused by malware
- then go to www.adblockplus.org to install Adblock plus
