Are you using the problem Mac to post this question? Your "more system details" show this User Agent:

Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; Intel Mac OS X 10_5_8) AppleWebKit/534.50.2 (KHTML, like Gecko) Version/5.0.6 Safari/533.22.3

... which is Mac OS X 10.5.8 (Leopard) and the latest version of Firefox (17.0) no longer works on that system.

Ref: Firefox no longer works with Mac OS X 10.5

If you have a computer running Mac OS X 10.8 (Mountain Lion) then you should be able to download the Firefox installer from mozilla.org and install it. See How to download and install Firefox on Mac for detailed Instructions.

Sounds that the ".5" in 10.5.8 got lost.

You will have to update your Mac OS X to 106 or later to be able to continue to use Firefox.
