I have a mac 10.4.11 Tiger and when I tried to use the new version of firefox. It says that it is not compatible. What version will work?
I am having trouble with some websites, i.e. amazon. It says that it works best with a newer version of safari, firefox, etc. I had my hard drive crash so when I had the new one installed I tried to download the newest firefox and found it is not compatible with the mac tiger that I need a newer version leopard + How do I download a version that will work? Thanks

Firefox 4 versions and later do not run on a PowerPC Mac. Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5 and an Intel Mac.

Firefox 3.6.24 (Mac OS X 10.4 and later) can be found here:

thanks I had already found that 3.6.24 , but i really appreciate you answering me. now i know how this forum works
I downloaded Firefox 3.6.24 for my Mac OS X 10.4.11 a few weeks ago. Today I got a prompt to upgrade, and was redirected to Firefox 3.6 --is that the latest upgrade, or should I stick with Firefox 3.6.24?
Just repeating what it says above: "Firefox 4 and later require at least OS X 10.5".
I have OS X 10. 5 but I am sticking with Firefox 3.6.24. The last time I upgraded to Firefox 4, I had to wait 5 minutes for every mouse click to execute.
