How to change the default action taken when downloading a .avi file

I use a download manager but recently i had to download using the download window in firefox. I mistakenly checked the box labeled "do this for all files of this type". Now my download manager is no longer catching my downloads and i can't find the option the remove the default action.

can anyone point me in the right direction? please!
