Acrobat Reader 10.3.1 does not load with FF 14.0.1, yet Reader does load with IE 9.0. I uninstalled and re-installed Reader, yet it still does not load. Clearing cache makes no difference. I'm using the identical PDF page to load--OK in IE, but nothing in FF. The Acrobat Reader plug-in indicates that its version is up-to-date.

Can you open PDF files in the external reader?

Start Firefox in Safe Mode to check if one of the extensions or if hardware acceleration is causing the problem (switch to the DEFAULT theme: Firefox/Tools > Add-ons > Appearance/Themes).

Gentlemen, It seems that the problem is site specific, i.e., FranklinTempleton Investments. I called to report the problem, but the Customer Service Representative claims there is no problem! She was not going to forward my situation to their IT department for examination. [When I click on a link I get the following text "javascript: void(0);" shown in the lower-left corner of the window. Is that not an error message?] On all my other sites, any PDF files load without any problem.

You are sure that you are using the Adobe Reader and not the PDFjs extension for Firefox?

Dear Cor-el, I am using Adobe Acrobat 10.1.3.23 plug-in, under my list of "Add-ons." The "PDFjs" extension is not listed. The fact that PDF links on all my other web sites work, and when I click on a PDF file residing on my system and the Reader loads to read it leads me to believe it is a site-related problem.
