Okay, I have an important question concerning tabs??
Okay, so I just downloaded the latest firefox update and it completely screwed up my tabs. In about:config, browser.showQuitWarning is set to true and in Option>General under When Firefox Starts:, I have 'show my windows and tabs from last time' selected. But, it still brings up an empty white tab whenever I open firefox and it doesn't ask me to save my tabs whenever I exit firefox. Help please? My work requires I have these tabs open constantly and if my computer shuts off from low battery, I lose them all and can't get them back.

As a general good practice it helps to bookmark tabs, and to back them up or sync with another device.
You may well loose open tabs after running an update to the Firefox version.
You no longer need to specifically save open tabs, Firefox normally tries to do that by default. You may then open any saved open tabs from the history menu, or from the option on the default home page about:home.
You appear to have set Firefox not to open as a home page, so something is going wrong, if that is still happening now. Have a look at
It is also possible that you have multiple &/or corrupt sessionstore files in your profile
- see http://kb.mozillazine.org/Standard_diagnostic_%28Firefox%29#To_fix_the_problem_in_the_original_profile
you are likely to loose information if you start deleting such files, but you may have to do that if the session restore is not working. Note you may rename or copy the files elsewhere in case they may still be used later.
Note you should always try to close firefox from the firefox menu.
Make sure that you do not run Firefox in permanent Private Browsing mode.
To see all History and Cookie settings, choose:
- Tools > Options > Privacy, choose the setting Firefox will: Use custom settings for history
- Deselect: [ ] "Always use private browsing mode"
