I dont know why the addon site gave me the wrong version.

Might be that LastPass didn't upload the latest version of their Firefox extension in a timely manner.

AMO is currently showing LastPass Password Manager 3.3.2 as the newest version available there.

Is that what you had before you got it fixed? https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/lastpass-password-manager/versions/

Yes site had 3.3.2 version and as I use LassPass for all my Windows browsers I recommend you get all your updates from LastPass here is the link for the d/l

Have you disabled or restricted cookies in any way in your settings for Firefox? That website needs to use cookies, so make sure they are allowed, at least for that website. Cookie settings can be found in Options >> Privacy >> History.

If you are intentionally restricting cookies via the "Exceptions" area of Privacy settings, then beware that Firefox can allow separate cookie rules for HTTP and HTTPS for the same domain. Logins typically require HTTPS, so make sure you enter the HTTPS version of the URL. If you merely enter a domain name without specifying HTTPS, then [I think] Firefox will assume you only mean the HTTP version.

Have you installed any add-ons that restrict JavaScript? That website probably also needs to use JavaScript, so make sure it is allowed, at least for that website. Many websites also require JavaScript to be allowed for other domains, for behind-the-scenes operations (icon clicks, fonts, etc.).

Other than these, I don't know what else to check. I'm not an expert.

Verizon may also simultaneously require cookies for some of their other domains, such as verizonwireless.com, vzw.com, etc.

If clearing cookies didn't help then it is possible that the cookies.sqlite file in the profile folder that stores the cookies got corrupted.

  • Rename/remove cookies.sqlite (cookies.sqlite.old) and if present delete cookies.sqlite-shm and cookies.sqlite-wal in the Firefox profile folder in case cookies.sqlite got corrupted.

You can use this button to go to the current Firefox profile folder:

You can also check the cookie exception.

  • Options/Preferences -> Privacy -> Firefox will: "Use custom settings for history" -> Cookies -> Exceptions

You can remove all data stored in Firefox from a specific domain via "Forget About This Site" in the right-click context menu of an history entry ("History -> Show All History" or "View -> Sidebar -> History").

Using "Forget About This Site" will remove all data stored in Firefox from that domain like bookmarks and history and cookies and passwords and cache and exceptions, so be cautious. If you have a password or other data from that domain that you do not want to lose then make sure to backup this data or make a note.

Can't recover from this 'forget' unless you have a backup of involved files.

If you revisit a 'forgotten' website then data from that website will be saved once again.

The problem was finally solved after contacting LassPass and it was discovered that Chrome had updated me the latest version of the 4 software Firefox had not.

I thought I was using the latest Firefox version because I got it from its addon site but it installed the latest version 3 and once I updated problem was gone.

I dont know why the addon site gave me the wrong version.
