Enclosed are jpg copies of the current sets of filters failures in my TB email program.

TB Error0 shows the 6 emails that have arrived and are placed in the INBOX. However, each of these has a corresponding filter set up to move them upon arrival to a separate subject email mailbox.

Note: If I highlight the INBOX and then go to Tools > Run Filters On Folder ... all of these INBOX email messages will be correctly filtered and moved to their respective email mailbox, BUT each of them is shown as having been "read" and unless you pay close attention, you may not know where these INBOX emails were sent.

I am also enclosing TB Error1 & 2 that show the last couple of days message filtering errors.

I can find nothing wrong with how each of these filters are set up, yet they seem to consistently fail to operate when new emails arrive.

Note one of them is for incoming emails from ... schiffsovereign.com. I have edited this filter repeatedly, even deleted it and re-input the information. Yet the filter never takes hold and does what it is designed to do. I am enclosing a jpg of that specific filter as TB Error3

I am looking for suggestions on how to fix this problem.

I had to reinstall everything after a Windows glitch. I always liked to have Thunderbird show a list of my emails with a window below to show the content of emails I selected in the list. But now I can't find anything in settings to allow me to do that.

I have over 200 email accounts in Thunderbird, and I am getting constant pop-up error messages that say: "Не удалось открыть индексный файл для 'Входящие на [email]'. Возможно, произошла ошибка на диске или полный путь превышает допустимую длину."

I don't need help fixing the emails themselves, but I need to permanently disable these pop-up alert windows because I will soon have over 2000 accounts and I don't want 2000 errors popping up.

I am using the latest version of Thunderbird. I have tried looking for "about:config" or the "Navigation Toolbar" to change the settings to "false", but my interface is heavily customized and I cannot find the menu or the address bar. I need a step-by-step guide on how to disable these error alerts, preferably using the Windows Registry or a configuration file if the menu is hidden.

I have frequent problems with message filter settings and these problems have been occurring through several of the last Thunderbird versions. All message filters frequently lose "Move message to.." information. "Enabled" check boxes become unchecked "Run selected filter(s) on:... " specified file keeps changing.

I use AltSnap and its snap feature a lot because I have multiple 40" TVs as monitors.

That means I often deal with thunderbird floating windows rather than maximized, and I often resize it.

And I notice that my message list is always getting too small !

I realized this is because when you resize the thunderbird window vertically, the preview pane stays a constant size, but it is the message list that resizes.

Over time the message list gets squished out and not even one message is visible.

I think if the message list remained of a constant size during vertical resize and it was the preview pane that got resized along with the window, it would prevent that and the message list would always be, the size that you last set it.

I *can* resize the folder pane in the first/main folder tab, but, I *can not* resize the folder pane in subsequent folder tabs I create using "open in new tab". 

This occurs using any layout (Classic, wide, vertical view). In the first tab I get the double-headed arrow to resize the folder pane, but in subsequent folder tabs I don't get it.

When I open a  folder in a new tab, the folder pane is the same width as the parent tab, but, I can't adjust it.

I'm using Thunderbird 152.0.1, but, this has been going on for a long time from what I can remember.

I've tried a number of suggested things to fix this: - Deleted xulstore.json - Cleared Startup Cache. - restarted in Troubleshoot mode (and I get the same issue there). - Switched layout views - Toggled folder modes - Adjusted interface density. - Toggled hardware acceleration. - Deleted the UI Cache Folder (shader-cache)

Nothing worked.

Please help me with this!

In the email address tree on the start up page of Thunderbird, how can I manually sort the email address order? I have an address I would like to move to the top of the list.

I know it can be done, but I can not for the life of me remember how. Please help.....

I've read a lot of suggestions on the FAQ section, but what they are offering, I do not have listed in/on my Thunderbird.

Until recently, when I clicked on a link in Thunderbird, it was opened in Thunderbird. Now the link is opened on a wide-screen external monitor. I can't find the setting that was changed to make this difference.

I recently upgraded to version 115.10.1 and it is driving me utterly insane. It repeatedly turns on threading. I turn it off for a folder, next time I log in it's on again. I turn it off in a folder and copy that setting to all other folders, but it turns itself on again. Others say turn it off in Settings/Appearance. But I don't seem to have Settings/Appearance.

How do I stop this? Or is there a way to find out what version I was originally running and go back to that. I hadn't upgraded for a good while but my old version was much better. This one is also really slow and I hate the tiny text.

On upgrade to 152.0, a pop-up asked for options I have not seen before. I cannot find info about what the net.thunderbird option is, nor why I would or would not want to click it? Any help out there?

This product use to be simple. But now will not let me see the whole layout . Have to chase it across back to the begining. Been with this program over 15 years. Now i Hate it! Arthur Lovett as my father would say Keep it Simple and workable.

When I open the sentmail folder, I want the receiptants name (email address) to show in the list of emails sent instead of my name (email address). How do I resolve this?

Hello, Often I want to create a new filter Discover that I want to put this in a new folder

But because the create filter dialog locks out its parent window Then I have to lose what I entered, then find where I want to create a new folder create the folder there and now start over from scratch building my new filter

Also when you create a filter, you should be able to see test matches for the filter you just made There should be a check box to, "run this filter now after creation" The dialog should not lock out its parent window !

And please review the screenshot, this is where we should be able to create folders from

I want to collapse all folders in my email account.

I have a lot of them, and I don't want to close/expand them all individually. I want to quickly close all or expand all

Is there a button to do that ?

i manage 8 email accounts for different projects I run.

When I open thunderbird, all my folders in each email open up. Is there not a setting to say don't open folders?

I have this problem. On only 1 PC from 5, with same mailboxes installed and same configurations, on one of the mailboxes, Thunderbird does not accept setting to "not read" the letter. I tried making time to read the letter and it worked for 10 min, and then again stopped. At final, no matter how it is set, when I push to read the message it always read it.

Tried repairing the folder, but doesn't work.

Any Ideas will be great.
