For about 6 months now, my printers have been disappearing and reappearing at random...or so I thought. However, today, I left my Printer window opened while the printers were "Connected". I then proceeded to open the programs I regularly use: First Word. Nothing. Then Acrobat. Nothing. Then Chrome, still nothing. Then Thunderbird...Bam! Printers Disconnected. I said, let me try this again, and again, and again. Each time...same result. When launching Thunderbird...within 5 secs, the printers disconnect. It's the craziest thing I've ever seen. Anyone out there looking for a fun challenge? I've never seen this happen before and would love a resolution. Oh, and before it's suggested: I already checked the PrintSpooler service...connected or disconnected, it's status reads: "Running" in Task Manager.

I use an iPad Mini 6 and my email provider is Sonic.net. I have been using Thunderbird for years and years, however I can’t figure out how to do certain tasks. Maybe I don’t have the most recent version of Thunderbird. I want to to create files for archiving emails off my Sonic.net server.

ThunderBird for Linux crashes down automatically every 5 minutes since the last update. Every time I log into my account, about 5 minutes later, I see from the monitoring terminal that ThunderBird's temporary memory usage suddenly soars to over 90%, and then the entire program becomes unresponsive and must be closed and logged in again. But after that, this situation keeps repeating, and it is impossible to use it. Can anyone help? Thanks!

I am having an issue with converting my Yahoo email to Thunderbird. I see I have 6500 emails in my Yahoo email account, but do not see my emails in Thunderbird Inbox.

I have a default view of 10,000 messages but cannot see my first email.

I'm on Thunderbird (128.6.0esr (64-bit)) on Fedora/GNOME. I've noticed, that whenever I launch Thunderbird, it takes several minutes (!) where it says "Connecting to mail.myserver.com" in status. I'm using my own postfix/dovecot server with imap and I don't have this problem on Thunderbird Windows for instance, where it connects right away on startup. After the initial slow connection, it works just fine, when I manually trigger to scan for new messages (instantly). I tried literally any option within Thunderbird to fix that, without any success. It seems to be some trouble with resolving / dns or probably ip6/ip4, but then again, why would it work normally after the long connection time in the beginning? Any clue what might be the problem here?

Program keeps crashing on startup. This has been happening for a week or so but it would load second time. Now won't load up at all. I have reinstalled but to no avail

Thunderbird is not receiving new emails today for my primary account: hal@halglatzer.com There is no problem with my host (Network Solutions) because I can retrieve emails via mail.halglatzer.com Windows updated last night - could that be the problem?

Dear Team After Updating from 102.15.1 (32Bit) to 115.28.0 (32Bit) I can not connect to the provider "pop.hispeed.ch" anymore. Ping pop.hispeed.ch (on CMD) shows normal raction of beeing reachable with a "reply from xxxx.". I am on Windows 7 SP1. I have checked several times all setting POP and SMTP, switched off Firewall, uninstalled virus scanner, and and and many more (all knowledge found on internet..). Pressing the "Get Message" button in the upper menue bar shows no raction when pressed. The icon "Get Message" on the left side of the button "+ New Message" results in a none moving blue status bar at the right bottom of the window. After a while with the message "timed out.. ".In the settings "Config Editor.." the values of "mailnews.tcptimeout" are set to "300", and "true". I am using TB since donkey years with many many eMails. Are the lost? I keep thunderbird pinned to my Windows taskbar and that is usually where I look for it. Every so often and much mor6e frequently than I like it vanishes from there and I believe that that is when it an update to it arrives. To maintain the state I like I then need to delete the now-dead pinning for the taskbar, find thunderbird afresh and leunch it and re-pin. This is not a terribly new behaviour but the grief threshold in my life has just been passed leading me to ask if this is a thunderbird issue or a windows one and if there is some scheme I can use to keep the application pinned pretty well come what may. This is obviously not life critical but it has been winding me up! Many thanks. Arthur

I am attempting to download all of my emails & folders from my CenturyLink.net account using POP server setting in Thunderbird. All of the inbox emails download but none of the folders & associated email are downloading.

When I use IMAP server setting in Thunderbird then all of my folders & associated emails download with no problems.

I want to same all of my emails to my computer so I can cancel my CenturyLink.net email and internet services but I only know how to do that using POP and PST files.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

TB (ver 128.6.1 esr, 64 bit) not updating Verizon emails since 21 January 2025 to my PC. AOL Webmail shows new Verizon emails. Running Windows 11. No VPN. Firewall is off. AVG Antivirus turned off. POP account. Tried: If you cannot log in to your ISPs web-based email interface, your password may have changed. If so, it must also be changed in Thunderbird. To change your password:

       ◦ Click the menu button  and choose Settings.
       ◦ On the Security panel, click on the Passwords tab and then click Saved Passwords....
       ◦ Click on the relevant account and then click Remove.
       ◦ Close and re-open Thunderbird. You will be prompted to enter a new password for the account.

Reopening TB does NOT ask for a new password. Running TB in safe mode does NOT ask for a new password.

I have 7 RSS Feeds installed and working.

The problem is that 5 of them only update when I right click and update manually but the first 2 update normally when I select "Get Messages".

I've checked each feed and they all seem correct in Properties.

Anyone out there have a suggestion or solution?

Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I have Thunderbird 128.6.1esr (64-bit) running on a new Gateway Windows 11-Home computer. Thunderbird does the download for the new version but when it tries to install the download it says "Installation Failed". Help and or Fixes to this will be greatly appreciated.

Also:

I have manually downloaded TB 128.7.0 to my laptop but don't know if installing it over TB 128.6 will work without messing up my mailboxes or settings.

Dear support. Mozilla Thunderbird do not start. Instead of start program the message appear:

"For finishing update Thunderbird program is neccessary to restart computer. Do you want to restart now?"

Then I choose YES, and after restart nothing change.

I'm using the latest version of Thunderbird on my MacBook Pro laptop computer. When I compose a new email, I can no longer Select All the email addresses from Contacts.

I was able to Select all the email addresses from the selected address book and then either click To or Bcc. The selected addresses would then go in the To or Bcc fields. It does not do this.

Any suggestions? Thank you.

For several weeks I have been unable to search within certain emails i.e. Amazon, Jacque Lawson cards, Woot, etc. When I click within these emails to search for a specific item all I get is an"e" or an "i". I need (for example) to buy a specific item in Amazon but the email won't let me search for it. Extremely frustrating!!! I need to get this solved ASAP. Thank you. Linda Sullivan
