Thunderbird for Android Community Forum

Thunderbird Android Version 13.0 Android Version 15 Fairphone 4, also Samsung Galaxy Tab Active 5. I get an email with a PDF-attachment. I click on "open with Acrobat". Acrobat reports "document cannot be opened, is damaged". I open the same email with GMail. I click on "open with Acrobat". Acrobat opens the PDF without problems. So the PDF is not damaged in the mail, only in Thunderbird-Android.

Why can't I view my sent emails with Thunderbird on Android?

I just can't find where they are kept and it's making my life difficult.

Any help would be much appreciated.

In V.10, it used to be I had to really swipe all the way left for delete to occur.

Now in V.13 only a small/partial movement deletes.

This is tool easy to mis-trigger. Please go back.

I have been a Thunderbird user for many years both on Windows and Linux. Both gives me the option to copy mails to local folder on the pc. Thus I avoid having old mails stored on an external mail server. Will this option be available on android? Best Regards, John Kjersgaard

Hello. I successfully copied my email accounts into TB for Android app on my phone. I had hoped that I could elect to copy over my Local (desktop) Folders too. It didn't have the option. I'm sure I can copy the Local Folders to my phone's SD card. Q: What app would you recommend I use to find and read these emails ? Would the TB for A app be able to do this ? Thanks for reading. I have install Thunderbird for android in a search to change the primary gmail app. I have found a "problem" for me. When I received a mail from gmail or yahoo i don't have any option to delete that email with the help of my watch. I have option to remove(notification) ,mark as read, spam and some others but i don't have the option to delete that email with the watch. I need to go to my phone and delete that email manually from the phone. On the gmail app i have that option.

I have Thunderbird Android and it changed to Apple when we bought Apple TV and now we cannot send. Were forced to use crap Webmail. Tell somebody, to please move the message account number, away from right next to the date, where it seems to be part of the date.

It could be moved over to the left, whether it's this nice big space. How about that?

Just installed TB for Android on Samsung S24 Fe. Works fine but am unable to exit the application other than forcing phone back to home screen. Have installed on a Samsung tablet and the back button seems to be working OK. Anyone know of any issues with this phone and TB?

I just installed Thunderbird 12.0 on my Phone (Galaxy Note20, Android 13). Account setting were taken from my Desktop PC using the QR Code. In all three Accounts only Mails in the Main IMAP-Inbox are shown. Subfolders (like "sent" or "drafts") are all found, but the messages inside will not be shown. It will only say "Load more messages" but does not find any. In K9-Maiil 11.1 this still worked, but I had to uninstall it as after the automatic update to 12.0 it suddenly kept crashing on startup.

Already tried to add my main account from scratch on my tablet (with a fresh install of Thunderbird 12.0), but the problem with empty subfolders remains.

Any thoughts on this?

From what I can see online, the instructions are, read the QR code and everything works. I've also seen a lot of wondering about QR codes not working. I get QR codes, but Thunderbird can't read them. Seems to be a bug in the QR format.

I want to use Thunderbird for Android and connected my mailbox with imap and smtp. So far so good. But i dont see a adresboek and i dont know where to connect my carddav addressbook. Can you help me?
