Hi!

I don't understand. Firefox is eating up memory again in the latest versions, and on top of that, it's the GPU on my PC.

4GB for the app and up to 8GB.

Are you mining Bitcoin on my machine?

Firefox: When printing out - or saving onto PDF - a website, its URL is placed in the footer or the header, depending of the settings. Unfortunately, when the URL is longer than half of the width of the printed page, it is truncated. How to avoid this truncation?

I have a profile that I had copied from my main profile, which is connected to an email and synced. This second profile is unsynced, and it won't let me sign into my account because that account is connected to the main profile. It says I need a separate account for a separate profile. Fair enough. I try to make an account. It says I cannot sign in to the new account because the profile is synced to the old one. Very annoying to be given instructions that don't work. So, I make a new profile and sign in to my new account on it. It works. But now I don't have my bookmarks and passwords. So I find instructions on backing up my account and copy my secondary profile into the new profile with the new account. It logs me out and is now giving me the same error! (the backup was successful though) I don't want to have to copy and paste all of my passwords and things into a new account. Is there any way to make my secondary profile syncable?

It displays fine in Google Chrome and Microsoft Edge. My main browser is Firefox. Is there something wrong with my Firefox settings? firefox 147.0.3 64Bit

Why is firefox blocking the paypal popup??? I've tried all the solutions to get it to work, but it still does not work.

Went into Settings/Privacy & Security/Permissions, Block pop-ups and third-party redirects is selected, but I've added http://paypal.com and https://paypal.com to the exceptions

Firefox desktop (147) keeps deleting all Bookmarks, passwords and cookies. I sign in and it's fine till I restart windows 11, then all is gone except the titles of the Bookmarks minus ANY data they may have held. Importing B.M.'s works till the process starts again. Cookies are just gone and same with any passwords I may have saved. just seems to happen in Firefox, was never a problem before the end of last DEC.

Why doesn;t Firefox autofill my saved sites and passwords. I cannot find a setting for that. I don't want to go through all my sites to change passwords and don't know if I did would they then work to autofill. bold text

When the Global Privacy Control request is checked (https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/global-privacy-control?as=u&utm_source=inproduct) a persistent bubble appears at the bottom of the page indicating the request has been accepted. The bubble is annoying. Is there a way to continue to use this feature without the bubble appearing?

I just updated to the latest version of Mozilla FireFox and my bookmarks dissappeard.

All are gone, I wonder how I can get them back?

firefox on mac seems entirely broken.

in about:profiles I see 1 profile (with custom name). after restart the profile is still there, but all settings lost( Passwords, links, addons )

the same as happened before: I restarted the computer for update. than there were multiple profiles in about data. i got cunfused an in the end i deleted firefox entirely and reinstalled.

YouTube videos are choppy in Firefox, despite trying solutions like clearing the cache, disabling hardware acceleration, and using Safe Mode. I’m using Windows 10 with the latest version of Firefox. What can I do to resolve this?"

I recall that Firefox used to log-in automatically to websites that require a user name and/or password. This helpful feature seems to have been removed, even for sites that are listed in the "Passwords" display. How can I get it back?

Using Drawings in Microsoft Word (web app) breaks after inserting more than 2-3 text boxes and shapes. The error typically displays as "This page is slowing down Firefox..." I run Firefox on Fedora Linux (Silverblue). For several releases I've noticed that the reader mode only displays the Close Reader View, Text and Layout, and Theme options and nothing else i.e. no content.

When I run it in troubleshooting mode, it works. I've tried disabling all my extensions, deleting all my extensions,restoring the browser to default settings but nothing makes a difference. I'm always on the latest release (currently 147.0.3). I currently have multiple profiles, but it didn't work even before I rebuilt them. I'm out of ideas.

Any help is appreciated
