In Windows 10 my Firefox Icon lists above the tasks all recent downloads which I do not want for security reasons. I have been deleting one at a time when shutting down. I don't want them there at all. Please help. Thanks

Hi, I was asked if I could contact you by google disability.

I'm having a huge problem creating a channel on youtube with a live.co.uk account when using NVDA.

I press b until I hear account menu button button submenu, pres enter or space, then arrow down to create channel and press enter. Nothing seams to happen.

Google disability has shown me a couple of video or audio files proving that it can be done, they've even said that they tried creating an account with an outlook account, what live.co.uk is called now from my understanding.

SO I'm really confused as to why they can do it and I can't.

I can't show you with OBS because it messes with my screen readers speech so if you have another way I can show you; please let me know.

I've already tried the following, suggested by disability support: 1. uninstalling and reinstalling firefox.

2. making sure addons are disabled, the only one I left enabled was a volume booster but I doubt that would be the issue.

3. Setting NVDA back to factory settings and disabling all addons.

This has been confusing me on and off for up to a year now.

Hi there, I am facing a strange issue in latest version of Firefox after Win10 Fresh Install. The Audio is not working. Audio Drivers are ok. Able to play audio in media player and other browsers but not in firefox. Please help. Tried all settings like sound mixer , FF reinstall, audio drivers update. But same issue. Even video not started playing in youtube etc.

Hi, I'm trying to open pages in my old HP Mediasmart. I can access the NAS on my netwark but when I try to open most icon I get PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR.

I have my security software paused. Does this mean the NAS can't be used anymore?

I use Windows 10Pro, an Asus modem and I'm connect to the NAS by ethernet.

With vertical tabs and expand on hover, clicking on the X box rarely closes the tab. Sometimes I have success if the pointer is on the left or right line of the box. Not having luck on the center of the box. Has been true for several weeks. With hover off, clicking the X works fine. I am running Windows 11.

Had to reinstall firefox after a power outage. Now running FF Version 140.0.2, 64-Bit. But I can't find Outlook Calendar. Calendar continues to operate as normal on my iphone running Outlook for iOS. How can I get Outlook Calendar working again on this desktop. Thanks in advance.

I am using Firefox version 140.0.2 on PCLinucOS Debian (Bookworm) Edition.

Trying to sign in on AOL and getting error number 15, this is Mac pro book and FireFox browser, went to Safari everything worked on that site. Went to my Dell Desk top with FireFox and it worked ok that computer. Has anyone else had this problem.

All of a sudden, I cannot login to my QNAP nas to perform any administration.

First it issues a self-signed certificate error. Then it issues a MOZILLA_PKIX_ERROR_CA_CERT_USED_AS_END_ENTITY after I've imported the certificate into the Firefox internal CA.

I am completely locked out of being able to manage my NAS because of this issue. I could issue another certificate, but, I can't actually install it. I could update the software in the unit to see if QNAP has fixed this issue, but I can't get into administer the device at all.

You people need to allow users to over-ride security concerns where errors such as this occur. The whole purpose of security exceptions is to prevent this kind of stuff from happening.

Please help and please give your users a way of managing this situation.

i attempted to update my Firefox this morning and the app froze and refused to reopen after multiple attempts. i decided to throw the app away and re-download firefox on my desktop, but now have no access to my bookmarks, open tabs (history) and passwords. please assist!

Starting this morning Firefox is not letting me log in to some pages. Other pages i can get into but they do not display/load properly. Everything was working fine on Friday. What changed?

I received two work-related files, one in PDF format and one HTML, both of which display blank pages when opened in Firefox. I am able to open both files in Chrome with no problem. I've been using/opening similiar files on Firefox from the same source for many years with no problems, so this came up fairly recently. Please help.

What is this new notification badge I now have on my Firefox Tab in the Windows taskbar. An annoying little number one in a circle that won't go away and won't tell me where the notification is coming from?

I believe this problem is caused by a false crash recovery loop, every time I open firefox it'll close again and then give me an annoying red striped address bar. I'm sure its not my extensions because I only have Ublock Origin installed.

I have multiple duplicate "Other Bookmarks" folders populating my "Bookmarks" folder. I can't seem to get rid of them. Any solutions? If I delete one folder will all be deleted? Windows 10, Firefox 140.0

when i open firefox (including opening a new tab) my CPU peaks at 100% on all cores for a few seconds. this is without any pages loading and without many heavy extensions (all i have is malwarebytes and dashlane)
